The Heard Museum was founded by Dwight & Maie Heard in 1929. Today it is recognized the world over as a Museum of Native Art & Culture. A place to learn, discover and relive the native traditions. The Museum has 10 galleries with ongoing and changing exhibitions Year after year the Heard Museum exhibits the finest works of art from its permanent exhibits as well as some contemporary traveling exhibits. The Heard Museum shop features authentic jewelery, textiles, the Katsina dolls and handicrafts. The Berlin Gallery of Heard Museum Shop has art by 15 innovative artists. There is an indoor/outdoor dining facility at the Arcadia Farms, which serves some South West cuisine. The Heard Museum is located at the Central Avenue.
