Char's has the Blues is the coolest club to listen to Blues seven nights a week. Located on the 7th Avenue, the Char's building was a house, which later went on to become a store and later a Mexican Restaurant until in 1985, a gentleman bought out the place and converted it into a Blues bar and gifted it to his wife for her birthday. The present owners have set high standards of music that the club has been voted the best blues club in Phoenix for the last seven years in a row.
